The Oxford and Cambridge Ladies Golfing Society was founded in 1991 to provide competitive golf for alumnae, students and academic staff of Oxford and Cambridge and to promote womens golf at the two universities. With membership currently standing at over 100, the Society is growing year on year. The Society plays annual matches against many prestigious clubs, as well as holding its own Autumn Meeting and the Ladies Niblick knockout tournament.
The emphasis is very much upon competitive but fun golf and members handicaps vary from single figures up to mid-twenties. Anyone interested in joining the Society should either be a current student, alumna or member of academic staff of Oxford or Cambridge.
